Brothers of Mt. Moriah #11 Lead The Way : Backpack Drive

On August 4, 2018, the brothers of Mt. Moriah #11 lead the way as Worshipful Master Anthony Green and Committee Chair Ed Green, along with the brothers of the lodge, invited members of NPHC (National Pan-Hellenic Council www.nphchq.org) which include male and female black greek letter organizations, to its first annual Cacerus Club backpack and school supply drive. The members of AAA Chapter of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc. and the members of Alpha Zeta Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. pitched in to make this a memorable occasion for the Mountainview Elementary community. The Gaddis Groups own John Gaddis provided Music for the event.  West Virginia House of Delegate , Danielle Walker and her team also provided support for the event with a booth of games and prizes for the kids. The occasion was attended by current Mt. Moriah members, Past Grand Master Charles Blue, and Past Grand Master Eugene Burney.

Over the last year Mt. Moriah has distinguished itself throughout the state of West Virginia through community engagement and has been a staple of the community. The lodge continues to serve Morgantown and its surrounding community through various philanthropic events. When you see the Cacerus Club out, please find time to thank them for their interest in giving back to area youths.
